I RECEIVED THIS INQUIRY ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

Hello Sir - I am writing you about an incident my daughter and I had this past weekend near Crane Lake, Minnesota. We were on our way home and traveling south on Crane Lake Road only a few miles from the lodge we had stayed the weekend. As we drove around a wide bend in the road we noticed two tall dark creatures walk out of the forest to my left. I slammed the brakes and stopped about 30 feet from them. They seemed oblivious to us as they walked onto the road and barely gave us a glance. They crossed in front of the car and leaped over a ditch then into the forest. I quickly hit the gas pedal and drove for about a quarter mile. I then pulled over to collect myself. My daughter, who is 15, was sitting with a shocked look and not moving. My heart was racing and I was shaking uncontrollably.

I think we sat there without saying a word to each other for over a minute. I then asked my daughter what she thought those creatures were. Immediately she said that we had seen 'Bigfoot'.

Both creatures were about 7 foot tall and massively built. I was surprised by the amount of dark reddish hair they both had and how proportionate their bodies were to humans. I saw the face of one of the creatures briefly as it glanced at us. The nose was very broad but the rest of the face was similar to those you see on TV that are supposed to be cavemen. They walked upright like humans and didn't slouch. I believe they were both male.

I have lived in Minnesota (in St. Cloud) all my life and I never heard of anyone seeing a 'Bigfoot'. My daughter is convinced that these creatures were 'Bigfoot'. We looked online and found your website and an image that best represents what we witnessed.

Have there been sightings in the Crane Lake area previously? I called the lodge where we stayed and the woman who answered said that there had been a few sightings in the area over the years but nothing that close to their location. I'd be interested to know what it was we saw. I can't believe that there are not more reports of these creatures. Thanks for reading. MM

NOTE: I posted the email as I received it. I contacted the witness by an alternate email she provided...she replied that I could post her report minus any personal information. She added that her daughter has had nightmares since the encounter and that they have not mentioned the incident to anyone else other than the woman at the lodge. I told the witness that these encounters are something that you never forget (from personal knowledge). I sincerely hope her daughter's nightmares subside...though I have known of some witnesses who suffer PTSD long after these close encounters. I didn't get a time but they had just checked out so I assume it was during daylight on Monday (4/2) morning.

I also contacted the lodge where MM and her daughter stayed this past weekend. I talked to a very nice lady who asked me to talk to someone who knew the area better than her. Another woman got on the telephone and asked me to call her back at another number. Well, we played 'phone tag' for most of the afternoon (seems like it's busy at the lodge) but finally she was able to talk.

I inquired about Bigfoot sightings in the area. She said that there had been several reports north of their location in Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park and that there had been an expedition (I supposed it was BFRO) near Voyageurs National Park in the summer of 2011. She said several of the people in the expedition party had stayed at their lodge. I gave her my contact number / email and asked that she contact me if other information became available.

UNKNOWN CREATURE IN KANSAS

Leawood, KS-- I was in my kitchen making lunch, when I looked out the window and saw what looked like a greyhound sniffing around my back yard. As I looked at it something looked a little bit off about it, and noticed it had a rugged looking face with black eyes and its ears seemed a like they had been charred or deformed. I looked a little more closely, and noticed it only had some thin hair around its neck. I began to think maybe it was a deer, but the way it was walking was more canine like than a more graceful deer. Well maybe I am looking at a coyote I thought, but I usually only see those at night. Plus they are pretty scrawny and thin. This animal was very thin, but it was also very long and lanky. As it jogged away, the last thought I was left with was that I had just seen a Chupacabras!

I am an illustrator and storyboard artist, so since i did not have my phone to take a picture or video, I felt compelled to sit down and draw out what I saw. This is my illustration of the strange creature I saw.

AFTER MIDNIGHT MEWS, COURAGEOUS AND CUTE BIG CATS... yep, the temps dropped fast, and the Arctic winds swept across the tame prairie today... the yo-yo weather cycle continues... this has basically been going on in this region for the past ten years, or so... however, now, this winter season, there's been a wider gap in the temperatures... so, the good news is, all the rain that fell... then the ice pellets fell... and when the Kougaress awoke there was a thin layer of snow.

IS THERE AN INTERSTELLAR WAR HAPPENING? Some who investigate the deeper mysteries and so-called conspiracies, and have their ear to the shadow-gov ground, believe so. Certainly, from what this Big Cat has observed, experienced, and from her own intuition, there is some kind of major war, or factional wars, happening around us.

What is true, that can be found in the news, and is documented... well, the US military is being purged. That is, the good guys and gals who truly stand for the people and America, those who 'will not' fire on their fellow Americans, are being drummed out, en masse, right now. Yep, from a passel of biggie Generals, and on down the ranks. This, of course, does not bode well for avoiding a civil war, or some kind of nasty conflict. Nor, does it bode well for avoiding WWIII, given these very Generals have refused to play ball with the dark-siders, and initiate another world war.

The Kougaress can only applaud their courage and integrity in this essentially spiritual war between good and evil. Darling kittens, keep up the prayers and meditations for a real and lasting peace on our precious Mother Earth... a peace that is not about cowering before authority figures... but a peace based on the strength of the human spirit.

It almost seems like a "Phoenix Lights" type of event right here in our area. Here is one last tidbit I found.

On Saturday, March 28, 1998, Washington asked Stone to monitor the skies and look for anything unusual due to the "flap" of sorts appearing to be around the Henderson-Evansville-Owensboro, Ky, area. That's when I noticed a small triangular object with golden-colored lights on all three corners flying with its tip turned towards a "plane-like" object with red and white lights on its"wings. I thought a crash was imminent they were that close. As I continued to watch, the tip (facing the two white-red flashing ones) began to generate an even more brilliant golden light. They were directly over me at this time and I could tell that the small triangle was heading slightly southeast, while the object with the white-red combination was heading due east. As they flew along, the small triangle merged with the white-red object, almost as if it were eating it. The now merged object then turned on its side and continued flying while the triangle was nowhere to be seen. (That was one tricky maneuver if you ask me!) I kept watching as it flew out of sight. Throughout the duration of my observation I counted around 15 of these white-red flashing lights all heading in the same direction. I heard a helicopter at one point, as well, but was never able to spot it. It was off to the west and sounded as if an airplane did fly over my head later on, which was sporting the regulation red-green-white combo of lights and did have sound accompanying it."
