I had typed "meteorites over Nanaimo, BC" in Google to see if self has reported seeing them barely. I found this article by a Nanaimo two of a kind who saw whatever thing similar to what I've seen, as a result of your contact info at the bottom.
I live at the south end of Nanaimo, and tonight was the fourth time I've seen a "fireball" in the night sky in the last two of a kind of months. The one I saw tonight was at approximately 10:00pm, as I was covering having a fume.
All four of the sightings were in the identical area of the sky (to the correct and beneath the Big Revelation), and all but one (which was itinerant South/West) was itinerant in a North/North East comportment. Everybody sighting has lasted approximately 3 seconds. They build as a yellow/orange happiness, somewhat large, about the bunch of an eraser on a pencil at arms range. Sometimes I've seen a tail, but tonight I didn't. It is very acerbic and clear out tonight. UFO spotters have claimed they saw a massive egg floating over San Diego in California. The base of the object was lit with bright orange lights, they said.Mufon, the Mutual UFO Network, reported the mystery object as a "black, solid egg shape with orange lights on the bottom". Ominously, it began moving towards the spotter after it was spied hovering above ground, the report claimed.
"Molten fire" was reportedly falling from the craft. This might have been a sign the UFO was in trouble, or it could have been egg white dripping from a crack in the giant shell and then glowing in the orange light.
The spotter, who was not identified, recounted his close encounter: "First saw [the unidentified flying object] coming from the west, it looked like a fiery object floating in the sky. Then as it moved east it stopped and hovered for a few seconds, then it started coming towards me for about 10 seconds, then it stopped and hovered as if it knew I was looking at it." No images of the giant egg in the air were captured by the witness who said he was worried he would lose sight of the mystery object if he went looking for a camera.
"Then it started to slowly move to the east again," he report continued. "I ran inside and grabbed my mom and my uncle. We all watched it float away before it just vanished somewhere over college. I got a really good look at it through my binoculars for about one minute. No sound. Hovered, then moved, changing directions.
"Looked like molten fire was dripping off it as it flew slowly by. I didn't want to run and grab my camera in fear that it would go away."
The sighting of the egg UFO happened in November but Mufon has only just published the report.
So is it now time to scramble defence forces to crack the mystery of an impending alien invasion? Or would that be putting all our eggs in one basket? Perhaps there are some egg-stenuating circumstances behind the sighting.

An account of the 1908 Tunguska explosion from one of the last survivors. The account was supposedly covered up by the KGB and the Russian government, and the film claims that the event is related to the 1947 Roswell incident in New Mexico. The official explanation was a comet, but the movie claims there is evidence of radiation after the blast (with radiation sickness in the area - whether this can really be confirmed today is questionable), and geomagnetic storms before the explosion. An approaching comet could have presented some of the variable lighting in the sky, however. The film claims that, with the KGB gone, the new Russian government should be more receptive to the idea that "the truth is out there." The film does show some stunning shots of the crash site, which did not leave a crater. The explosion was over a hundred times as strong as Hiroshima. The film ends with a reference to Roswell. There are also interviews with Don Yoemans (JPL Sr. Research) and Paul Chadas (NASA).

Italian researchers are exploring Lake Cheko, five miles from the crash impact site, for physical evidence from the impact. The 164-foot-deep lake might have been formed by the impact.
