This footage was taken during the live coverage of BBC New Year's Eve Fireworks when an unidentified flying object appears above the London Eye.

UFO SIGHTING - VIEWER COMMENTS:
It's a camera drone. The different colored lights show front and back to the pilot and the BB-C used a shot where one of the green lights was seen from a camera on the drone (so we know the camera was on the drone)

Its interesting
Could be a Camera drone possible, but then would they make sure its not in view, also all footage is in front of wheel. Possible reflection or computer graphic, yet it only appeared on one cam and would you really make it obvious
At 0.40 That is actually the LED Lamp, the camera has been set to a resolution so all outside lamps close up are low light in that way as not to interfere. A perfectly long planned and timing event like that, would you place a cam with lights in view, never happened before.
The fact this was on live broadcast and behind wheel makes it interesting, even a drone cam would not show up that bright as its would disrupt the viewing 1. A UFO - yes
