Robert Potter is an associate of Cobra's who's doing much the organizing work behind Cobra's Laguna Beach Conference November 23, 2012.

I met Robert Potter about a month ago for lunch. He is a charming man, an energetically very much like myself. He felt like a long lost relative is the only way I know to describe his energy and personality. He felt like family. I don't know why he feels that way to me.

He's an interesting man, and his adventures with Dr Fred Bell are quite amazing tales. They'd make a good movie screenplay. I don't know a whole lot about him or the Dr. Frank Stranges personality behind much of what Robert Potter is doing. They seem to be very close. I think Dr Stranges represents one of those secret societies that Sheldan Nidle is always speaking about.

I will not, for reasons I won't go into now, be going to the Laguna Beach conference. This should not be taken to say that I am in opposition to Cobra, or Robert (who seems to me to be a very sincere individual and a very likable human being). Robert is the kind of guy I could hang out with. Very Californian! That's how much at ease I feel around him. Maybe that's just the effect of those Dr Fred Bell Pleiadian Scalar Energy medallions? :)

With deep sadness, SSERVI mourns the loss of our friend and colleague, Mike Wargo, who passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. This news comes as a great shock to us all, and he will be missed terribly. In our grief, let us remember how Mike inspired us with his inexhaustible energy and enthusiasm, his hearty laugh and booming voice, and his dedication to NASA.

Mike was HEOMD's chief exploration scientist, and his contributions to human exploration were many. He represented the directorate on the science teams for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and LCROSS missions, and most recently, he was a member of the Mars 2020 Science Definition Team. Mike led by example, working closely with colleagues in the lunar, planetary, and Mars science communities, to build collaborative and highly productive projects for both Exploration and Science.

Please keep his wife Adele and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will let you know about plans for the funeral and a NASA memorial service once they have been made.

The Lunar Exploration Analysis Group (LEAG) on behalf of the broader lunar community wishes to expresses its deep shock and sadness at the news that Dr. Mike Wargo passed away unexpectedly over the weekend of August 3-4, 2013. Mike was the Executive Secretary of LEAG and championed the Moon at NASA HQ.

While his advice of patience may have been difficult to accept at times, it was invariably correct. He was also a believer in and a champion of the Moon and the Lunar Exploration Roadmap, which he helped construct through sound advice and coordination of roadmapping meetings. Mike was also a champion of the Specific Action Teams, through which LEAG has conducted many analyses for NASA.

Mike exuded an infectious passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for forging closer ties between science and exploration at NASA, which he achieved because of his encyclopedic knowledge of science and exploration issues that are involved with human spaceflight. Mike's passion for science and exploration can be seen in this 2009 video where he described the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Mission.

In addition to LEAG meetings, Mike was ever-present at meetings of the International Space Exploration Coordination Group (ISECG) and the driving force behind defining and filling the Strategic Knowledge Gaps that grew out of the Space Policy changes of 2010 that occurred with the change in the US administration. Above all, he was a gentleman who was friendly, helpful, and considerate. His larger-than-life personality was accentuated by his laugh and his ability to always share a joke! We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Adele, and his family at this time. We are indebted to him for his contributions to LEAG, as well as lunar science and exploration. OBITUARY PUBLISHED IN THE NEW YORK TIMES:

Michael J. WARGO, Chief Exploration Scientist for NASA's Human Exploration and Operations Mission, died unexpectedly on August 4 at his home in Alexandria, VA. He was 61 years old. Dr. Wargo was the son of Margaret and John J. Wargo of Clairton, PA, both deceased, who themselves were the children of Slovak immigrants. Michael was a leading contributor to NASA's human lunar and planetary exploration program. As a scientific member of many lunar missions, including the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the LCROSS satellite, Dr. Wargo helped map resources for human missions to the moon and participated in the discovery of ice in the shadows of lunar craters. In a nearly two-decade career at NASA, he received numerous awards including NASA's Exceptional Service Medal and seven group achievement awards. He was a member of the team planning the next robotic mission to Mars in 2020 and worked gathering crucial scientific information needed to allow humans to be sent safely to the moon, Mars and near-Earth asteroids. Much of his work has helped develop a "roadmap" for human and robotic space exploration for the next two decades. Dr. Wargo graduated from M.I.T., with an SB degree in Earth and Planetary Science and received a Doctorate in Materials Science in 1982. At MIT, he was recognized with the John Wulff Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Hugh Hampton Young Memorial Fund Prize for exhibiting leadership and creativity while maintaining exceptionally broad and interdisciplinary interests. He began his career at NASA by turning a fledgling microgravity research division into a worldclass program. NASA drew on Dr. Wargo's ability to explain complex scientific findings in straightforward terms as a spokesman at agency press conferences. NASA is asking the International Astronomical Union to name a crater on the moon in his honor "so his name will be forever enshrined in the heavens." His colleagues and his friends remember him as inspirational, full of passion and energy, with a booming voice and a great heart. He is survived by his wife, Adele Morrissette of New York, NY, and brothers John, David and Robert, all of whom graduated from M.I.T. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon August 11, at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home and funeral services will be held on Monday August 12 at 12:30pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, both in Alexandria VA. Whether you believe in life existing in the universe beyond earth or not, one fact is certain, and that is UFOs indeed do exist because millions around the world have reported seeing strange objects in the sky since the late 1940s. In this respect, UFOs, unidentified flying objects are a reality. Only where they come from, what they may be, and who perhaps may have constructed them are the questions which remain unanswered.

The Roswell Incident-7/1947, where news of the event first appeared in the local Roswell news paper reported "RAAF (Roswell Army Air Field) Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region" is also an event involving visitors from beyond our planet that remains a hot issue with UFO investigators and enthusiasts today, as it was then over 6 decades ago. The main reason this incident is alive and well today is because the US government has yet to give a believable answer to the details of the story and too many witnesses claim to have seen the craft itself, the aliens who piloted it, and the strangeness of the material which the craft was made of.

It was not until after the detonation of the first above ground atomic bomb test at White Sands, New Mexico on 7/16/ 1945 that UFOs became more visible on a worldwide scale. This fact leads one to believe we became monitored as a dangerous civilization both to ourselves and to life beyond our planet by extraterrestrial civilizations with vested interests in earth human civilization.

The question is-how they seemed to know almost immediately of our atomic achievements? It could have been the light emitted from the atomic test. However, this seems unlikely since it would have taken light from the test such a long time to reach any civilization beyond our solar system it would have been years before they knew. Yet, they knew immediately.

The only other explanation is we have to have always been monitored with technology advanced enough to immediately inform such a civilization of our scientific advancements and overall progress, good and bad. This can only be possible if earth has been watched by some highly technologically advanced piece of equipment, deliberately placed in orbit around our planet by the extraterrestrial civilization interested in our advancements.

Apparently, earth has had such an alien satellite in orbit for perhaps several thousand years. The Black Knight Satellite, which it is referred to, is a mysterious large piece of equipment that has been in earth's orbit long before human civilization became scientifically advanced enough to place satellites in space.

Nicola Tesla was first to pick up unknown repeating radio signals from space in 1899 and later, publicly announced it at a conference.

Some 20 years later in the 1920s, amateur HAM radio operators were able to receive this same signal. Next, scientists in Oslo, Norway experimenting with short wave transmissions into space in 1928, began picking up Long Delay Echoes (LDEs), a not fully understood phenomenon in which they received echoes several seconds after transmission. The apparent explanation finally came in 1954 when newspapers (including the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the San Francisco Examiner) reported an announcement from the US Air Force that two satellites were found to be orbiting the Earth, at a time when no nation yet had the ability to launch them. It appeared that Black Knight had been detected by multiple lines of evidence, and was confirmed by the US Air Force.

The evidence points to BKS being legitimate, since it was able to transmit signals in the late 1800s. There is also the recent NASA images of it which completely destroy the idea that it may just be space trash since any piece of discarded material from rocket engines to satellites would have made their way back to the surface of the earth by now. Yet, the same piece of equipment seen decades ago in orbit around our planet is still there today.

It is also very possible that BKS transmits information on frequency levels yet unknown to human technology or uses light as a means of communication when necessary according to our scientific advancements at a given time.

BKS may be such a sophisticated mechanism in that it is able to monitor human thoughts. Whatever it is-the technology it possesses is thousands of years ahead of anything we could dream of.

With what we know about BKS, the possibility of it being a hoax is far less than the evidence we have that says it is an alien satellite.

INVASION OF AMERICA

Discussions about the possibility of visitation to Earth by extraterrestrials or other unusual intelligences, including the story in "Cowboys and Aliens", often note the impacts on Native American Indian tribes when Europeans landed in "The New World."

STORY OF CURRENT SITUATON

These alleged incidents and experiences are in many ways consistent with continued indications about the possibility that Earth is currently being visited by extraterrestrial and/or some other kinds of intelligent beings.

Tales of the 1947 crash of a spacecraft near Roswell, New Mexico, still fascinate the public. These kinds of stories also form a basis for other claims that the U.S. government, military and intelligence services have been dealing with such a situation ever since.

A claim that human-looking extraterrestrials are among us was also the theme of a recent story about the alleged Operation TANGO-SIERRA, a U.S. intelligence effort that investigated and captured such an ET.

Also in recent weeks, a new emphasis on these kinds of issues emerged in the mainstream media as prominent scientists openly discussed possible impacts of human contact with extraterrestrial or anomalous life forms.

"Cowboys and Aliens "might also help us think about the many elements of such a scenario, not only in the present day or even in the 1800s, but also in the more distant history of American Indians and the human race as a whole.

In the movie, the townspeople and Apaches work together, adapt their minds to a rapidly-changing reality and develop new methods to deal with it.

This sounds a lot like "transcendent warfare," a term used by a Navy SEAL officer in a research paper about the U.S. government activities involving human consciousness and perception known as Project STAR GATE.

UFO SIGHTING IN ALIQUIPPA, PENNSYLVANIA ON SEPTEMBER 25TH 2013 - BRIGHT ORANGE OBJECT FLYING OVERHEAD

This is the second time I saw this same object at the same area except this time I had a newer phone and was able to capture three images... was on my porch talking on the phone looked up and saw this this again.. hung up phone and took photos.. this object made no sound whatsoever and I live les than twelve miles from Pittsburgh international airport so I know airplanes and helicopters even blimps.. this was not any of those.. I've seen another type of unknown thing but I wouldn't be able to describe it by writing.. it was so strange I'd have to explain but this is the one that I have proof of. I am always looking in the sky.. I'm fascinated by the unknown but I'm not over zealous and certainly not a whacko :-). You have to zoom in really close to see the light but that's because I don't know how to use the zoom on my phone camera.. the photo with the building in it.. the light is above and to the left but once you zoom in you can't miss it.. on all three photos.. plz let me know what you think.. hope I've contributed something useful. Bill Gill was one of the most compelling and impressive UFO witnesses I had ever met. We corresponded and talked often about his remarkable experience. His experience witnessed by other members of the Boianai mission in Papua New Guinea in 1959 will be examined in Season 2 of Close Encounters on the Discovery Canada channel. I have tremendous respect for Bill Gill and I hope that the Close Encounters story accurately addresses his extraordinary experience - one of the best cases ever reported."THE IMAGE IS FROM A VIDEO I TOOK FROM REV GILL'S LAST UFO LECTURE, BRISBANE, 14TH JUNE 2003."Bill Gill's extraordinary journey from skeptic to believer needs to be carefully stated. He was never a believer, but he simply stated that he saw what he saw. (the video excerpt at this link is from "UFOs are Here (1977)") His whole life after the Boianai sightings was somewhat affected and why publicly he was patiently willing to consider all possible explanations the extremes of some skeptics and some ET believer apparently hurt the family. He supported serious attempts to analysis and investigate his sighting, even if they were skeptical or explanations that were not alien UFOs. Bill Gill's letter to David Durie dated 25/6: I am almost convinced about the "visitation" theory. There have been quite a number of reports over the months, from reliable witnesses. "I do not doubt the existence of these "things" (indeed I cannot now that I have seen one for myself) but my simple mind still requires scientific evidence before I can accept the from-outer-space theory. I am inclined to believe that probably many UFO's are more likely some form of electric phenomena - or perhaps something brought about by the atom bomb explosions, etc. "At this stage Bill still left open in his mind the idea of "visitation" - visitation by aliens, the Americans or whatever.Then with the 26th sighting he write the next day 27/6:"Now, less than 24 hours later I have changed my views somewhat. Last night we at Boianai experienced about 4 hours of UFO activity, and there is no doubt whatsoever that they are handled by beings of some kind. At times it was absolutely breathtaking." He discussed with the native witnesses that night the theories about "flying saucers" some believe they were from other planets, some believe they were from leading nations on Earth, so he was still keeping an open mind and passing that perspective onto the native witnesses. So by 27/6 with the first nights experience, he was certain there had been visitation, but still doubt by what. With "Convinced Bill" he was only convinced he saw what he saw, and it was his "good natured sequel" to his initial skepticism. Theories -

he had none he was certain of. He mentioned that the object was manned by "beings of some kind" but was being somewhat "tongue-in-cheek" as he was only certain of what he saw, not what it was.Ernie Evennett, a trader saw a UFO that same night (26/6) from across the bay. When he arrived at Boianai on 27/6 he was asked by natives, "Taubada" (pigeon English for Sir)", did you see the American Air Force last night? We did at Boianai."So clearly Boianai natives and Gill were still entertaining "the American" visitation idea, but he was open to the ET idea, but still not totally certain.With the night of 27/6 the "visitation" idea was verified in Gill's mind. He now no longer had any doubt of the "visitation" being real. He had his notes, he had his witnesses and plenty of others had seen things. He still wasn't prepared to say they were alien.He was soon back in Australia and gave a lecture to the Victorian Flying Saucer Research Society on October 28, 1959, of which I have a full transcript. He had also said similar things to the ABC TV: "I accept the possibility of life on other planets.... But I've no theory, merely because I haven't had time to think about it."This was pretty much where he stood publicly for the rest of his life. He certainly believed in what he saw, it was real and it was a visitation by someone, of what he was never sure. His religious sensibilities harboured another possibility beyond ET, the Americans, and he kept this largely to himself. However this theory, and it was only a theory he would explore and think about a lot, it "came out" in his last lecture on 14th June 2003. I recorded his presentation. At the end he said, somewhat I thought in "tongue-in-check" but I suspect he was floating his idea that he had researched. What were they? He looked for something he had found. "This is the punchline" he said, what they might be. He then described the story of cosmonauts in space seeing "angels" - very large "men", glowing light, etc. So that was what he put forward as an idea. The evidence see this Pravda report, which described what had been rumoured and mentioned for years since it was alleged to have happened in 1985:For Rev Gill I think while he couldn't prove it, so he did not present it forcefully, it was an explanation that did not seriously confront his religious thoughts. As far as I know this was the closest he came to saying this, that maybe the Boianai "visitants" were "angels", perhaps "angels" to him, "aliens" to others, but certainly real, certainly "visitants" - a term preserved by Randolph Stow in his novel "Visitants" - which opens with a prologue referring to the sightings.

So thats it, my understanding of the evolution of Bill Gill's thoughts on his sighting. Not really belief, but anchored in fact, and apparently privately mediated by his faith. But he put that out there as just an idea for thinking about. Perhaps the glowing "radiance sparking, etc that surround the "men" and the object led him privately in that direction. Publicly "aliens", "Americans" or "aliens", he did not know, but he was certain of what he saw.
